Skill Library

Your know-how. As the standard for the whole team.

A skill is a recipe for how the Jurata® Legal Agent approaches a task. Create it once, then bring it into any conversation with a slash – for yourself or shared with your team.

Individual, Team, Global

For you, your team or everyone.

You organise skills in three areas. Only you see individual skills, your whole team uses team skills, and Jurata makes global skills available to everyone.

Individual skills for you only

Team skills for every team member

Global skills, maintained by Jurata

Team Skills

Skills shared with your team. Every member can use them; whoever created a skill or moved it into the team edits it.

Everyone on your team can use these skills. Only the person who created a skill or moved it into the team can edit it.

Edit skill

A skill is a named approach you can select for a request that shapes how the Jurata Legal Agent tackles it – and, where relevant, the style and format of its answer.

Share with your team

Experience becomes a standard.

The most valuable knowledge of a law firm or legal team often sits in the heads of a few people. As a team skill, it is shared, multiplied and scaled: choose your team under “Visible to”, and everyone works to the same approach.

  • Devil's AdvocateExamine my reasoning from the opposing side's perspective. Name the strongest counter-arguments, unsupported assumptions and logical gaps. Distinguish between substantiated objections and hypothetical risks. Explain which additional facts or evidence are decisive for the assessment, and propose concrete improvements. Do not invent facts or sources, and do not object merely for the sake of objecting.
  • Plain languageRewrite the text for people without legal training. Use short sentences and everyday words, and explain unavoidable legal terms right away. Keep the legal meaning as well as requirements, exceptions, deadlines and uncertainties. Explain practical consequences only insofar as they follow from the text. Where helpful, add a short example that is clearly marked as an example. Do not invent facts and do not present conditional statements as certainties.
  • Source checkCheck the sources and citations in the text with the available research tools. Verify that each source exists, the reference is correct and the content actually supports the statement it is cited for. For legal sources, also check the applicable version and the relevant point in time, where accessible. For each reference checked, state the result, the exact reference and a short reason. Distinguish between confirmed, partly confirmed, contradicted and not verifiable. Flag missing access explicitly and never claim a check you could not carry out. Only suggest corrections backed by verifiable evidence.
  • TranslationTranslate the text completely into the requested target language. Ask for the target language if the request does not specify it. Preserve meaning, legal precision, tone and structure as well as names, figures and source references. Use technical terms consistently. Do not silently adapt the content to a different legal system. Flag ambiguous terms or missing direct equivalents in a short note after the translation.

Your approach. Every source cited.
